Biotechnological solutions for precision and durable agriculture
At ZeriMar Laboratoire, we are experts in microbiology and specialise in plant diseases, their control and processing. To this end, at ZeriMar Laboratoire we have extensive experience in international research projects focused on the study and treatment of plant diseases and we use the most advanced techniques and methodologies developed in leading research centres.
We have extensive experience studying pathogenic microorganisms that cause plant diseases, but also mechanisms of action of different chemical treatments and biocontrol agents such as Bacillus sp., Pseudomonas sp. and Trichoderma sp., among others.
If you need advice on how to control or prevent the appearance and spread of diseases, contact us. Check out our services.
Our services

DIAGNOSIS OF PLANT DISEASES
At Laboratorio ZeriMar we offer a specialized service in the rapid and accurate diagnosis of plant diseases. We use advanced techniques to identify pathogens in your crops, allowing for rapid intervention that minimizes damage and protects your production. Our team of plant pathology experts also offers personalized advice and recommendations for disease control and management, helping to reduce losses and improve the health of your crops.

SOIL ANALYSIS
Soil analysis is the first step towards efficient fertilization and choosing the crop that is best suited to that type of soil. By knowing the specific conditions and needs of the crops, you can improve yields. What analysis do we perform at ZeriMar Laboratoire?
-
Organic matter
-
Physical-chemical analysis
-
Texture and morphology
-
Microbiological analysis, among others

PHYTOSANITARY RESISTANCE TESTS
At ZeriMar Laboratoire we offer efficacy tests for phytosanitary products, helping you to choose the right treatment for your crops. Avoid wasting time and money on ineffective products that generate waste and damage the environment. With our methodology, you will know exactly which phytosanitary products to use and how to combine them to control diseases efficiently and safely.

Consulting and advice
With us you will find a team of experts who will advise you on the prevention, control and treatment of plant diseases, how to combine different phytosanitary products and how to carry out integrated pest control, combining chemical products, biological control agents and cultural practices.

SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE PATHOGENS IN IRRIGATION WATER
Although we cannot control the entire crop environment, we can control irrigation water, which is the main means of spreading pathogens such as Phytophthora and Pythium. These microorganisms, once present, are difficult to eradicate and can force the removal of plants and disinfection of the soil. To prevent their spread, it is crucial to carry out regular microbiological controls on irrigation water (ponds, wells, reservoirs, etc.). At ZeriMar we help you detect these pathogens before they affect your crops.

ANALYSIS OF SOIL MICROBIOLOGICAL LOAD
At ZeriMar Laboratoire we analyse the microbiological load of the soil. We carry out key determinations such as:
-
Number of bacteria, fungi, yeasts and actinomycetes.
-
Presence of phytopathogenic bacteria and fungi.
-
Identification of beneficial saprophytic fungi.
Our analyses allow you to know the microbial balance of the soil, promoting healthy plant growth and protecting them against diseases.

SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE PATHOGENIC AGENTS
At ZeriMar we offer microbiological load analysis to detect pathogens in seeds, plants and nursery soil. We identify bacteria, fungi and nematodes, helping you prevent the spread of diseases in your crops. With our service, you can plant with the confidence that your crops are free of pathogens or sell your plants with a phytosanitary safety certificate.

GERMINATION TEST
Germination tests or trials allow to determine the maximum germination potential of a batch of seeds and to estimate their potential value (according to ISTA standards) for sowing in open fields. These germination tests carried out in the laboratory provide initial information on the quality of the seeds. They also allow to analyse the presence of pathogens that could affect germination, plant development or even kill the crop.
